What a really nice tool to have to work with. Microsoft have a track record of getting products to market quickly, but it it has often meant the product doesn't always do everything the end user (or developer) needs it to.
What this does mean though is that they get all sorts of great iedas fed back from users telling them exactly what it needs to do differently... letting the users design version 2 of the software for them means that they (eventually) end up with a perfect little product.
The new ASP.NET ListView is a really nice little example of evolving a product (in this case to create a new one) to include all of the new features we really wanted as soon as we tried the first one.
Techies should definately take a look (if they haven't done so already). We've been using it for a new months now, and it saves a lot of time!
